Students in the College experience intellectual development in critical thinking, creative problem solving and working cooperatively in teams. Students also develop proficient communication skills in the written and spoken forms as well as through artistic expression. College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences programs and activities, such as internship opportunities and programming through the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute, provide a foundation of core skills, abilities and knowledge that is integrated with real work experience so that students can successfully embark on career paths in fields such as law, government, education, business, human services and the arts. Also, students’ acquired understanding of theory, research and techniques provides them with the opportunity to attend a wide variety of top graduate program.
