          Offense: Sexual Assault (alleged offender unknown to victim)

          Date of offense: Saturday, Oct. 6
          Reported to police: Saturday, Oct. 6

          Suspect description: Male subject between 5'7" and 6'1" wearing a bright colored skull cap.

          Summary: Edinboro University Police are investigating a report of a victim being sexually assaulted by an unknown actor in her on-campus residence hall.

          GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION:

          • Report all crime or suspicious incidents.
          • Be aware of your surroundings.
          • Avoid walking alone.
          • Limit your use of alcohol.
          • If your partner says no or does not give clear verbal consent, sexual activity must stop.
          • Your partner cannot give consent if incapacitated with alcohol or drugs, coerced, threatened, or frightened.
          • The person(s) who initiate(s) a new level of sexual activity is responsible for getting consent for each level of intimacy.
          • Step in if you see a friend or acquaintance being taken advantage of or trying to take advantage of another person. Separate the individuals and make sure they get home safe.

          EU CRIME ALERT UPDATE
          Burglaries/thefts resolved

          Date of offenses: Beginning January 27, 2017
          Initial reports to police: January 28 and 30, 2017

          Summary: The investigation by Edinboro University Police into reported thefts from residents of Rose Hall has concluded with charges against an individual on multiple counts of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud. The actor is no longer present on campus.

          Summary: Edinboro University Police are investigating reports that headphones and cash were taken from residents of Rose Hall beginning January 27. Campus residents and other members of the EU community are urged to take steps to secure their belongings when not in use.

          Suspect description: Suspect has been identified and is known to the victim.

          Summary: Edinboro University Police are investigating a report of a victim being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance in her on-campus residence hall. The suspect is not an EU student.

          Reported to Police: April 16, 2016

          Suspect description: Unknown

          Summary: Edinboro University Police are investigating several reports of damage to unattended vehicles in the Rose Hall lower parking lot and McComb parking lot.  If you have any information regarding these incidents, please contact the Edinboro University Police at 814-732-2921.
