Academic Success Center
Orientation is a two-part program. To ensure success, all students are required to attend their assigned New Student Orientation Day and take part in all activities during Welcome Weekend.
Congratulations on choosing Edinboro University! We’re thrilled you’ve chosen to join our community and look forward to seeing you at Orientation!
We want you to take advantage of everything that Edinboro University has to offer. At New Student Orientation you’ll find out everything you need to know about being a student at Edinboro University. We’ve planned a comprehensive orientation program designed to orient you to academic and campus life. Enjoy your day here meeting others in your major, faculty, and speaking to students who have been through your program! Orientation Fun continues in the fall with Welcome Weekend.
2018 is jam-packed with fun activities to acquaint you to University life. A student convocation, a picnic, speakers, plenty of social activities and everyone's favorite—Boro Block Party! Boro Block Party will be held on Saturday, August 25. Help yourself to delicious food while a DJ plays all your favorite tunes. Bring your dancing shoes and prepare to make new friends!
Begins with Move-in on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 8 a.m.
Plan to arrive early enough to be ready to participate in afternoon activities. Commuter students are encouraged to be available Friday and throughout the weekend to take full advantage of the Orientation program. A Parents and Families Organization meeting is Friday afternoon.
