As a Biology major at Edinboro, you’ll get hands-on experience that will not only prepare you for employment as a biologist or acceptance into a graduate or professional program, but make you successful along the way.

Plan to work hard, but also reap great rewards. Our curriculum is rigorous and founded on evidence-based science. You’ll gain a fundamental knowledge of biology, zoology and genetics. These classes are balanced with general education and core courses that improve your critical thinking skills and ethical decision making – qualities that are highly valued in every profession.

All lectures and labs are small, taught by faculty with research interests that range from spiders and parasites, to toxicology and food safety and plant and animal ecology. You’ll have a chance to work closely with them and participate in their research endeavors.
