          Dual Enrollment / Early Advantage

          Students interested in earning university credits while still attending high school may take advantage of Edinboro University’s dual enrollment opportunities.

          Dual Enrollment / Early Advantage Students

          High school seniors and juniors have the opportunity to take up to 11 credits per semester through Edinboro University at a significantly reduced cost. Students interested in this option should complete the Non-Degree Seeking Student Application. Those applicants will need the permission of their home high school.

          Regional Choice Initiative Program 

          Edinboro University offers high school students the chance to earn college credits through dual enrollment opportunities. The Regional Choice Initiative is a program coordinated by the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit in cooperation with high schools in Erie and Crawford Counties.

          Students may be recommended for participation in the program, or students can initiate the process by speaking with their school’s guidance counselor. Most high school students choose to enroll in one or two general education courses each semester of their junior and senior year, accelerating their education and helping to prepare them for the future.
