          Bridge Program

Jump-start your college career with the OAS Bridge Program

The Bridge Program is designed to give new Edinboro students with disabilities a positive start to their university experience through academic, social, and team-building activities. This 3-day experience provides you with information on college success strategies and skills, campus technology, and knowledge about resources on campus and through the Office for Accessibility Services (OAS).

Why Should I Participate in the OAS Bridge Program?

          • Increase your "College Knowledge;" become more familiar with campus and its resources.
          • Meet new people and make friends.
          • Engage in transition topics in order to prepare for fall classes
          • Move in early to fall room assignment (if you are an on-campus student).
          • Learn about OAS resources.
          • Connect with faculty and staff that will serve as resources in the future.
          • Get the inside scoop from current students.
          • Feel more confident about college.
          • Have lots of fun!

Students with disabilities come to campus with many questions and often need one-on-one guidance navigating the college system. This program will help ease the transition to college and answer many of your questions before classes begin.
