In its centennial year, the Edinboro Art Department continues to put students first, using new teaching techniques borne of necessity.
When COVID-19 threatened the health of our students, Edinboro moved classes online and suspended face-to-face instruction. Faculty and students had little time to prepare. The transition was especially difficult for those who rely on the ability to demonstrate their work. Our art faculty quickly adapted a studio-based, face-to-face education to online delivery. It took creativity, resourcefulness and commitment. Edinboro’s faculty successfully met the challenge in unprecedented times.
