Edinboro University’s graduate Art Therapy program is dedicated to achieving excellence in counseling, art therapy education, research, clinical and community service and integrates both counseling and visual arts practice, engaging the creative power of art for clinical assessment and treatment.
Edinboro University’s Post Master’s Certificate in Art Therapy trains current mental health practitioners in art therapy approaches and techniques to qualify them to apply for their Registered Art Therapist Credential. This program focuses on art therapy practice, theory, assessment, ethics, and professional functioning.
Edinboro University’s Master of Arts in Counseling program covers accredited school counseling, college counseling, clinical mental health counseling and rehabilitation counseling.
Edinboro University’s Master of Education in Educational Psychology program offers students a broad theoretical and practical background in the areas of education and psychology.
Edinboro University’s Educational Specialist in School Psychology graduate program offers students a broad theoretical and practical background in the areas of education and psychology.
Edinboro University’s Master of Education in Special Education is designed for student’s currently certified seeking SPED certification and for students holding SPED certification who wish to earn a M.Ed. with a focus in Autism or Behavior Management.
The Special Education minor provides students with important information on individuals with disabilities and strategies for working with these individuals. It will prepare you to work with individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including emotional, behavioral, learning, intellectual, sensory, and physical impairments. The minor can be coordinated with virtually any academic discipline.
