Do you want to develop your artistic competencies beyond the baccalaureate level? Are you an art teacher who wants to expand your skills and remain current in your field? The Master of Arts in Studio Art from PennWest Edinboro may be just what you're looking for.
PennWest Edinboro has been a NASAD-accredited (National Association of Schools of Art and Design) institution since 2007.
PennWest Edinboro is nationally recognized for excellence in the field of Art Education and studio art and just celebrated its 100th year of existence.
As a student in the M.A. in Studio Art program, you can achieve a depth of study in a specific studio discipline over the course of this 30-credit program.
You will work directly with a faculty advisor, completing at least 12 credits in one studio area of concentration. Before completing this program, you will host a major studio exhibit to showcase your work.
Upon graduation, you'll join the ranks of our successful alumni who boast a record of excellence throughout the U.S. in the fields of art practice, academia and arts administration.
Not everyone can commit to full-time graduate study, so Edinboro invites you to enroll in this program on either a full- or part-time basis.
Either way, you will have access to all of the resources and facilities that our nationally recognized Art Department has to offer.
Our dedicated faculty will ensure you both develop your artistic skills and find ways to market them in the creative economy.
Our alumni boast a record of excellence throughout the U.S. in the fields of art, academia and arts administration. All are prepared for lifelong research and routinely exhibit and publish their work in their specific field of study.
You'll thrive as an artist when you're surrounded by other creative talent at PennWest
