Whether you’re just confused about majors and careers or taking steps toward the major of your choice, rest assured that exploratory status is a very common temporary path for many students of all ages and backgrounds. In fact, it is estimated that 75-85% of college students change their major at some point during their undergraduate careers across the United States (Education Advisory Board, 2016).
