In support of the University's mission, the Dean of Students Office encourages students to uphold standards of conduct, promote a civil community, and maintain a positive living and learning environment for all members of the University community.
The Dean of Students Office educates students about the expectations of the PennWest Edinboro community and assists students in their development. In addition, our office is responsible for administering all areas contained in the Student Code of Conduct. This site includes resources for students/prospective students and their families, which may be helpful throughout their college years.
The Dean of Students Office is available to support students through judicial proceedings for violations to the Student Code of Conduct.
Through a system of fair and efficient due process, students are challenged to be responsible for their actions on campus and within the local Edinboro community. Through cooperation with many University organizations and external agencies, the
Dean of Students Office works to educate students through a series of workshops about
the negative consequences of alcohol and other drug use/abuse. The office also collaborates
across campus and throughout the Borough of Edinboro to provide students with opportunities
to participate in alcohol/drug free activities and events.
