The University Police Department at PennWest Edinboro offers many programs and services to educate student, faculty and staff on safety precautions and procedures.

The University Police Department offers informative and training programs to educate students, faculty and staff about safety measures, services their department offers, and emergency response protocols. MedReturn Drug Collection Unit

A MedReturn Drug Collection Unit is available to the campus and Edinboro community at the University Police Department. The MedReturn Unit is a safe way for law enforcement agencies to collect unwanted or expired household prescriptions, over-the-counter and other unused medications. For more information, please contact the Erie County Department of Health, Injury Prevention Coordinator at 814-451-6543. The project was funded by a Pennsylvania Department of Health's Preventative Health and Health Services Block Grant.
